DESTINATION BOOKINGS – TERMS OF SERVICE
(‘Terms’)
In engaging our destination Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms as well as any and all general terms and conditions posted on our website from time to time and our privacy policy.
DEFINITIONS
“Clients” means any customer or person engaging our Services.
“Quotation” means our email quote for the Services you request.
“Services” means hair and makeup services for weddings and events outside of Australia, including but not limited to Europe and Greece.
“We”, “our” and “us” means Ellen Theochari and includes all partners, employees and contractors.
“You” means the Client engaging our Services and by doing so, agreeing to these Terms.
HOW OUR SERVICES WORK
To secure your destination booking, you must accept our quotation and pay the required non-refundable booking fee. The Services, location, dates, times, and number of people must be confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
You must provide all information relevant to us performing the Services, including but not limited to:
Event location and schedule;
Accommodation address (if applicable);
Number of people requiring services;
Whether services are required for additional events such as rehearsal dinners or second-day styling;
Access details and any location-specific considerations.
If additional services are requested on-site that were not included in the original quotation, they may be accepted at our discretion and will incur additional charges. Where time permits, we will do our best to accommodate.
Please note: we are under no obligation to remain on location after the booked Services have been completed.
BOOKING FEE & PAYMENT
A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your destination date and will be deducted from the total quoted amount.
The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event date.
All payments are to be made in Australian Dollars (AUD). We accept EFT, credit card, debit card or cash. Any international bank fees or transfer charges are the responsibility of the Client.
Bookings are confirmed only once both the signed agreement and booking fee have been received.
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION
The Client is responsible for covering all travel-related costs, which may include:
Return economy airfare (including checked baggage);
Airport transfers and local ground transport;
Accommodation for the duration of the booking;
Any additional travel expenses required to attend the agreed location.
We will arrange our own accommodation. This will be selected at our discretion and will be mid-range quality (e.g. boutique hotel or serviced apartment) located near the preparation venue. The cost will be included in the quotation.
MULTI-DAY BOOKINGS
If Services are required for more than one day — for example, for a rehearsal dinner, welcome event, or day-after touch-ups — these must be discussed at the time of booking and added to your quote.
Services will be subject to availability and pricing will depend on the time and type of work required. A multi-day discount may be offered depending on the scope of the booking.
CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
The 50% booking fee is strictly non-refundable.
If a cancellation is made within 30 days of the event, the full quoted amount is payable and no refund will be given.
If changes are made to reduce the number of people receiving services after the booking is confirmed, no price reduction will be provided.
If you need to reschedule your booking to another date, this will be treated as a new booking and subject to availability. A new booking fee may apply.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to attend your booking due to illness, personal emergency or circumstances beyond our control, we will make all reasonable efforts to find a suitable replacement. If a replacement cannot be found, a refund will be issued for the Services not provided.
We are not liable for cancellations or changes due to circumstances beyond our control including (but not limited to): natural disasters, flight delays or cancellations, political unrest, pandemics, acts of government, or force majeure.
AGREEMENT FOR OUR SERVICES
By securing a destination booking, you agree to the following:
You will provide accurate and timely information;
You will notify us of any allergies, skin or hair conditions;
You will arrive on time and present with clean, dry hair and a fresh face;
You will ensure the preparation location is safe, has suitable lighting, a clean flat workspace, access to power, and access to water;
You will conduct yourself respectfully and ensure that all others receiving services do the same;
You will communicate promptly and respond to emails in a timely manner, especially leading up to the booking;
You consent to photographs taken of the Services provided to be used in our marketing and agree that we may contact your photographer to request images of our work for promotional use.
We reserve the right to refuse service or end a booking without refund if these conditions are not met.
